Ya know, I really never thought I would get here. I’ve tried the keto diet before and given up after a week or two every time. But despite the drinking and the stones and the ER and random other setbacks, I’m still going. Here’s my 1-month recap.
Important to note: The changes I made this first month were DIET ONLY. I have not yet added weightlifting or cardio to my routine. This 20 lb loss is only changing what I eat. I wish I could say it also came from reducing what I drink… but that’s a problem for next month.
Totals Lost:
- Weight – 20.1 lbs
- Waist – 2.5 inches
- Hips – 1 inch
- Chest – 2 inches
- Thighs – 1 inch
- Calves – 1 inch
- Biceps – 3/4 inch
- Forearms – 3/8 inch
This feels like legitimate progress. Shit. It is legitimate progress. I hoped the keto diet would give me some sort of immediate result that would help keep me motivated. It definitely did. Onwards to the next 30 days!
